Certain special cases must be kept in mind when working with specialised packages.

Shell Escape

When working with external typesetters, some packages require the -shell-escape option enabled. Please see apps/typesetting/typesetters/external/shell-escape for more.

Using ‘Hide Intermediate Files’ option

Some packages may not work with Texifier’s hiding of intermediate files in order to keep the workspace clean. Please see apps/typesetting/typesetters/external/hide-intermediate-files for more. When working with these packages, the option must be switched off by adjusting the workspace typeset configuration.
